C.O. sent Carrier Pl fwd to FREVENT to clear small pocket of resistance endangering the route, this allowed the arty supporting the 8 Hussars to pass through. Carrier Pl captured 3 POW, total 80 PW surrendered in village to FFI and ORs. Column was further delayed by fallen masonry on rly br in FREVENT.
