| 18 | Z hour. Assault bns cross MEUSE ESCAUTE canal with 2 Lincolns on right, crossing in areas 428948 and 2 RUR on left, crossing in area 421948. After crossing both bns will fight fwd to first objective on the line of the rly. The main objective is ACHEL 425976 and this is to be taken as early as possible and will constitute the extent of the bridgehead for time being. 1 KOSB will be Bde Comds res and may be used to re-inforce success of either bns crossing canal or to carry out the adv to ACHEL. |
