Monument Glider Pilot Regiment

Dit monument staat in de herdenkingstuin bij Manchester International Airport.

Tekst op het monument:
Here at Manchester Airport
the first trials of gliders
for military purposes were
carried out in 1940.

This led to the formation of
the Glider Pilot Regiment
Army Air Corps in 1942.

The motto of the regiment was
‘Nothing is Impossible'
