Oorlogsmonument Holy Trinity Church Skipton

Dit monument in Holy Trinity Church herdenkt de inwoners van Skipton die zijn omgekomen of vermist in de Eerste Wereldoorlog.

To the greater glory of God
In memory of those of this town and parish who fell in the defence of freedom and of justice in the Great War 1914-1918.
This stained glass window was erected together with the adjoining bronze panels upon which their names are inscribed.


Deze houten panelen herdenken de leden van de parochie die zijn omgekomen in de Tweede Wereldoorlog.

In honoured memory of the members of the parish church who gave their lives in the service of their country 1939-1945 (names)

Twee overige plaquettes herdenken:

William Cecil Hartley, die zijn omgekomen in de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Hij heeft geen bekend graf en wordt ook herdacht op het gedenkteken Tyne Cot, West-Vlaanderen, België.

Lt. Henry Brian Fisher, die tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog is gesneuveld in de slag van de Somme. Hij wordt begraven op het Heilly Station Cemetery, Mericourt-L'Abbe, Somme, Frankrijk.
